This week the Mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, is visiting the city of Madrid, Spain, to attend the International Tourism Fair, one of the most important tourist events in the world with almost 10 000 exhibitors from more than 150 countries.
This visit by the Mayor of Puerto Vallarta will undoubtedly produce important results for the city as the principal goal is to strengthen partnerships with the world’s leading tour operators to attract a larger number of visitors a year.
90% of Puerto Vallarta’s population is either directly or indirectly dependent on the tourists visiting the city and the aim of Gonzalez Resendiz to make important ties to the European continent is good news for the city.
As well, for the first time during the 32nd annual International Tourist Fair, there will be an exclusive panel for the next Tourism Expo, which will be held in Puerto Vallarta next March, therefore it was therefore of utmost importance that the Mayor attends this important event offering incentives to tourists to visit our destination.
